Procurement Policy & Guidance

Sector Procurement Manual

In conjunction with a multi-disciplinary working group, APUC has created a procurement manual for the further and higher education sectors. It was published on 29 May 2009, followed by interactive familiarisation workshops around Scotland during the first week of June 2009. Feedback from the workshops - and other ad hoc comments - will inform developments on an ongoing basis.

Benefits include consistency between the approach to Category B, C, and C1 procurements, demonstration of governance and compliances issues, and central updating via the pan Scotland Policy & Best Practice Forum and People & Skills Working Group. See the Manual here.
