Policy Forum and Best Practice Working Group
The
McClelland Report identified the need for central leadership on procurement policy and to this end, the Scottish Procurement Directorate (SPD) had established a Policy Forum and a separate Best Practice Working Group (BPWG).

Representatives from universities and colleges were invited to comment on the draft Policy Handbook and Participation Agreement. You can

Best Practice Working Group The group's terms of reference are being finalised.
A number of short life sub-groups covering subject-specific areas relating to procurement best practice have been created:
- Procurement Capability Assessment
- Contract Management
- Toolkit review
- Frameworks and Contracts
